Ecclesiastes 4:9 says, “two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.” Meier Clinics believes heavily in partnering with other organizations in the community. We find great value in teaming up with organizations and ministries that align with our vision and mission to treat the whole person – emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Here are some of those partners.
In the Dallas area, Restored Hope Ministries is a long-term safe-house program for women ages 17-45, who have been victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. This ministry has been helping rescue individuals for 12 years, rescuing around 150 women. Their mission is “to reach, rescue and restore women and their children to normal lives who have been affected by the adverse conditions of life that include sexual exploitation, human slavery, sexual abuse, poverty, domestic violence, homelessness, and interaction with the criminal justice system through education and unconditional love.” Meier Clinics has been partnering with Restored Hope by offering counseling services to every individual who enters their program. Each client has a weekly session with one of our licensed professionals. In 2024, we are looking to add educational group sessions for clients, as well as training sessions for Restored Hope employees and volunteers.
Real Options is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving Collin County and North Dallas for over 30 years. Their goal is to empower their patients to make informed choices when facing an unplanned pregnancy. Pregnancy testing, sonograms, options assessment and community resources are all free and confidential services offered. In addition to these services, Real Options also offers a fatherhood workshop that is free of charge for every attendee. Meier Clinics has been partnering with Real Options for over 4 years. We have been able to offer free counseling sessions for all Real Options clients, as well as discounted services for employees and volunteers.
In the Chicago area, Naomi’s House also provides resources for women who have suffered from commercial sexual exploitation. Their mission is to assist women to find freedom, healing, and a fresh start through trauma-informed, holistic support. Our psychiatrists and therapists at Meier Clinics have been partnering with Naomi’s House for over 8 years.
The Lawndale Christian Health Center provides high-quality medical services that are accessible and affordable regardless of a patient’s insurance status. Located in a significantly underserved area on the west side of Chicago, LCHC’s mission is to show and share the love of Jesus by promoting wellness and providing quality, affordable healthcare for Lawndale and neighboring communities. Meier Clinics has a therapy office on their campus, where we are providing multiethnic counseling services to that area.
In some cases, there are unique situations that require additional training for our staff. We are working with World Relief to collaborate to serve refugees and immigrants. We are excited to assist them as they serve people in very vulnerable situations.
In Seattle, WA, Providence Heights is our ministry affiliate, as they help women become purpose-driven leaders, helping them realize their potential and purpose. Meier partners with them by providing counseling services to assist their ministry. Help us do more! We are a nonprofit that relies on support from people like you. We have a healthy sense of urgency to help individuals that are struggling. Mental health is a “now” need and is not to be ignored until later. People are silently hurting and it’s time we shine God’s light on those who are struggling in the darkness.
