Education & Training: Wheaton College – Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wheaton College in 2018; Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Adler University in 2023. Currently employed as a Post Doc at Meier Clinics while working to obtain licensure.
Background and Experience: Worked with children on the spectrum using Applied Behavioral Analysis and providing in-home therapy services for one year. Completed my diagnostic training year at NeuroCare and Family Services where I provided neuropsychological testing services to a lifespan population. Worked at a therapeutic day school as a therapist to special education students with behavioral and emotional issues, including individual and family services. Former employment at Streamwood Behavioral Health Hospital working on the inpatient units for children and adolescents, providing crisis and case management services.
Special Interests & Services: I describe my therapy style as client-centered and collaborative. I help clients gain insight and awareness into their behaviors to improve the quality of their life and build meaningful relationships. I also use Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help clients build coping skills and practical problem-solving abilities to manage complex daily stressors. I am especially interested in helping clients and their families in the areas of abuse, neglect, divorce, and boundary issues. I offer a reduced therapy fee for clients who meet the financial guidelines.
Additional Info: Completed my dissertation surrounding health-related outcomes for former foster care youth.
