Treatment Issues: Treatment areas that Dr. Dzikowski focuses on include: anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, grief/loss, post-traumatic stress, as well as personality disorders. He has a strong interest in the diagnosis and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), especially when symptoms include religious themes, concerns about ethics and morality, as well as scrupulosity.
Education & Training: Dr. Dzikowski received his master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Arlington, Virginia.During his graduate studies, Dr. Dzikowski received extensive training in the integration of the science of psychology with a Catholic-Christian worldview. He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Dzikowski is a licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois. He is authorized to provide telepsychology services in Kansas through participation in PSYPACT—an interjurisdictional agreement that is designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology across state boundaries.
Background and Experience: Dr. Dzikowski uses relational, insight-oriented, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients understand and address distressing symptoms and difficulties. He strives to provide therapeutic support in a collaborative, respectful, and compassionate manner, mindful of each person’s unique life history, personal experiences, strengths, and sensitivities.
