Treatment Issues: Kelsie has partnered with individuals navigating trauma recovery, relational challenges, short and long-term homelessness, mental health related legal involvement, self-concept/self-esteem, addiction support, and grief processing. Kelsie utilizes aspects of various trauma-informed therapeutic approaches including: cognitive behavioral therapy, Adlerian, and tenets of dialectical behavioral therapy. She believes in the value of caring for the whole person — mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually — and the role that a safe therapeutic space can have in that process.
Education & Training: Kelsie Helm is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Art Therapist. Kelsie holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University. She has experience in community-based mental health settings, working from a trauma-informed lens with individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Kelsie has worked with both children and adults providing both clinical counseling and an art-based approach to therapy.
