Treatment Issues: Cindy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience working with diverse populations of individuals and families in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, social service agencies, family homes, and residential placements. She has worked with families involved with DCFS, traditional families, adoptive families, and foster families.
Education & Training: Cindy integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches to support and guide each person to help them identify and build upon their strengths in order to achieve their goals. She has focused her career on providing trauma-informed care for children, adolescences, families, and individuals. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Attachment Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
Background and Experience: Cindy has extensive experience in working with teens experiencing suicidal ideations and self-injurious behaviors. She has successfully worked with children, adolescents, families, and individuals experiencing depression, mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, sexual and physical abuse, attachment disorders, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship concerns, family instability, and social skill concerns.
