The Meier Clinics of Illinois established the first clinic in Wheaton, a western suburb of Chicago. Mrs. Nancy Brown, the Meier Clinics President, and sister of Paul Meier, M.D., originally worked with her brother in establishing the first Meier Clinics in Richardson, Texas in 1976. When her family relocated to the Chicago area, Nancy was asked to establish the first Illinois Clinic. The clinic opened its doors in September 1986 with just a couple of counselors. The Clinic grew rapidly as word got out that there was finally a Meier Clinic in the Chicagoland area. Within the year, we outgrew our space and had to expand to the next building and, one year later, we had to move once again to our current building. We’ve grown from two counselors to a clinical staff of approximately 35 psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed master-level counselors, nurses, and doctoral interns to provide a wide range of counseling needs.630-653-1717 Our Wheaton Clinic is the Corporate headquarters for Meier Clinics.Meier Clinics Corporate Headquarters 2100 Manchester Rd., Suite 1510 Wheaton, IL 60187-4561
Catalyst is an intensive counseling program running Monday through Friday with the typical stay being three weeks. Clients benefit from extensive daily therapy in addition to seeing the psychiatrist each day for medication management. The Outpatient program is for those who need less intensive care, generally meeting with a therapist once weekly or less.
