Tracy Smith

Tracy began working with Meier Clinics in 2016.  She enjoys working from a CBT or Solution Focused Therapy model, with eclectic styles mixed into best suit the needs of the individual client or family. In addition, she uses the Bible as a resource for the spiritual side of the client’s emotional well-being.

Tracy has worked with children and adolescents, individuals, couples, and families in the following areas:  Anger management, anxiety, communication, depression, family conflict, grief, marital issues, non-suicidal self-injury, parenting, school attendance issues, and self-esteem.

“I believe difficulties in life are learning opportunities.  Individuals, couples, and families go through difficult times at some juncture in their life, and what they learn from those difficulties is a choice.  I hope to help you work through difficult issues, gain new insights, and grow through these experiences.”

Tracy received her Bachelor of Arts in Professional Development from Amberton University in 2006 and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in 2012.

Prior to beginning her counseling career, Tracy was a special education elementary school teacher.  In addition, she is active her local church and has volunteered as a marriage discussion group leader in the marriage ministry program.
