Treatment Issues: Rae has worked with individuals who are experiencing somatic symptoms, depression, cross-cultural issues, significant life adjustment, anxiety, and trauma.

Education and Training: Rae’s undergrduate degrees is a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Washington in community psychology and education. She is currently a fourth year doctoral student at Northwest University in counseling psychology.

Background and Experience: Rae spent her practicum training years working in community mental health. She worked with individuals who were experiencing significant adjustment related to the pandemic or other life circumstances, grief of losing loved ones, trauma, anxiety, depression, and psychosomatic symptoms. She also has some experience in conducting cognitive assessments for school-aged children and adults.

Special Interests and Services: Rae works with adolescents and adults for a wide range of issues. She describes her approach as integrative or eclectic. She is particularly interested in looking at biopsychosocial therapeutical approach in helping her clients. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR. Outside of her work she enjoys cooking, rock climbing, and playing the ukulele in her spare time

Additional Information: Rae’s area of interest in research includes the topic of coping skills and resiliency. Currently, she is in the process of writing her dissertation.
