Treatment Issues: Susan is a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adult, adolescent and child psychiatry. Susan is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-focused care. She is concerned about the happiness of those whom she works with and prioritizes listening to her patient’s needs, experiences, and goals.

Background & Experience: Susan has experience working with anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, postpartum depression, major depressive disorder, substance abuse, eating disorders, psychosis, and bipolar disorder. Prior to working at the Meier clinic, Susan worked for nine years as a nurse on a labor and delivery unit. This helped contribute to her proficiency in the area of women’s mental and physical health. She also previously worked at an outpatient facility dedicated to working with individuals dealing with addiction and mental health challenges.

Additional Information: Susan enjoys running, and she has even previously qualified for the Boston Marathon. Some of her other interests include traveling, listening to podcasts, and playing with her four-year-old daughter and German Short-Haired Pointer.
