Education and Training: Nicole has two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Psychology and one in Social Work from University of Washington – Seattle, WA. She is currently a candidate for Masters of Science in Counseling (MSC) Degree at Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania.

Background and Experience: Nicole has experience in a wide variety of fields, three of which include daycare work, administrative work, and youth ministry. When it comes to counseling, Nicole helps you set goals that are reasonable and measurable so that whatever it is you have encountered in your life may be processed, reworked as needed, and a direction is developed so that one finds healing. Then you can continue to grow as a human being created in the image of God, called to serve God, and commissioned to live in this world.

Special Interests and Services: Nicole is an active member of her church, especially when it comes to discipleship, children’s ministry, and scheduling. She has a passion for the hurting and believes that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are what brings comfort, healing, and life to the hurting. The death and resurrection of the cross help us to discern how to live each day despite the pain we have. Knowing who we are, created to be in the broken world that we live in, helps us to better know what to do next.

Additional Information: Nicole enjoys traveling, seeing how culture affects people’s behaviors, and how they relate with one another. Traveling has not only challenged her own growth as an American-born Chinese but has also helped her develop a general awareness and sensitivity to how people relate with one another across the world.
