Matthew Dzikowski

Dr. Dzikowski is a licensed clinical psychologist, who sees adolescents and adults at the Meier Clinics office in Wheaton, IL. He uses relational, insight-oriented, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients understand and address distressing symptoms and difficulties. Dr. Dzikowski strives to provide therapeutic support in a collaborative, respectful, and compassionate manner, mindful of each person’s unique life history, personal experiences, strengths, and sensitivities.
In addition to therapeutic support, Dr. Dzikowski also conducts psychological evaluations to help clients obtain a deeper understanding of their emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal difficulties. He also conducts adoption-related psychological evaluations, psychodiagnostic evaluations, and neurocognitive evaluations.
Treatment areas that Dr. Dzikowski works with include: anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, grief/loss, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress, relational difficulties, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. He also has a strong interest in the diagnosis and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), especially when symptoms include religious themes, concerns about ethics and morality, as well as scrupulosity.
Dr. Dzikowski received his master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Arlington, VA. During his graduate studies, Dr. Dzikowski received extensive training in the integration of the science of psychology with a Catholic-Christian worldview. He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
