John H 3x4 1

John serves as the Chaplain for Meier Clinics’ Catalyst program in Wheaton and also offers pastoral counseling for adolescents, adults, couples and families who are navigating the issues that life presents, including Grief/Loss, Engagement/Marriage, Conflict resolution, Stress/Anxiety management, Life adjustments, Doubt/Crisis of faith

“I believe the application of psychology is most effective when viewed through the lens of Scripture and that all persons are created in the image of God and are to be treated with dignity and respect in a compassionate and honest manner. The pastoral counselor/client relationship is a partnership in which we reflect on the beliefs, examine the thought processes and explore the emotions that drive behavior. My desire is to facilitate healing for individuals, reconciliation for damaged human relationships and the restoration of fellowship with God.”

John received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Ministries from Wheaton College and is a certified Prepare-Enrich marriage facilitator. In addition to his role at Meier Clinic, John is the Director of Care Ministries at Chapelstreet Church in Geneva, Illinois.

John is not eligible for insurance; therefore, he accepts reduced fees of $85 per session.
