Treatment Issues: Mood Disorders (Anxiety/Bipolar Disorder/Depression), Psychosis, Children and Adolescents, and Substance Use.
Education and Training: I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University and I am currently pursuing my PsyD in Counseling Psychology at Northwest University. I completed my practicum training at Western State Hospital, providing therapeutic services for patients committed to the Center for Forensic Services.
Background and Experience: The focus of my work has been with court-involved youth, children in the foster care system, and children in military families. I have experience with individual therapy, leading groups focused on psychoeducation and therapeutic skills, and conducting assessments for learning disorders, ADHD, developmental delays, behavioral/mood difficulties, and personality testing.
Special Interests and Services: I work with clients to utilize their personal strengths and resources in the treatment process in addition to a combination of evidence-based interventions (cognitive-behavioral and solution focused therapy). Treatment is formed within the context of a client’s family, culture, and faith background so that change can occur both in and outside the therapy office.
Additional Information: I am fluent in Russian.
