Nursing degree from Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s School of Nursing. Attended Fuller Seminary for Psychology and Family Studies. Licensed by the state of Washington as a counselor since 1998.
Background and Experience: Hollie worked as a school social worker in the Naperville, IL, school district previously and was a research coordinator in behavioral studies. She was a public health nurse and a consultant in the juvenile court as a counselor for DuPage County, IL. She has been counseling adolescents and adults since 1987.
Special Interests and Services: Includes working with children, adolescents, and adults on a wide range of issues. Hollie uses cognitive behavioral and solution focused approaches, focusing on interaction and education of clients’ roles and skills.
Additional Information: Hollie has a medical background in research working also in behavioral sciences at UCLA and other centers that incorporate a total balanced life, including consideration of nutritional intake, physical activity, and spiritual components.
