Genevieve joined the Meier Clinics team in Chicago in 2016. She counsels adults, adolescents, and families in the hopes of helping to facilitate change. She hopes to bring happiness and healthier ways of living to the individual or family, while reinstating God’s role in each individual’s life.  Genevieve has provided mental health services in a variety of capacities and community settings including agencies, churches, private practices, a halfway house, a domestic violence shelter, correctional facilities, hospitals, homes, and other settings, helping to enhance the lives of many people with versatile backgrounds and presenting problems.

Genevieve’s most recent vocational journey encompassed working at an agency and private practice providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families.

Specialties in treatment include:

Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment to Life Changes, Relationship Issues, Marital Problems, Trauma, and Spiritual Guidance.

Genevieve also has been formally trained in domestic violence and crisis intervention, allowing her to further understand the vast spectrum of the needs of individuals and family.

Genevieve received her Bachelor of Arts from Benedictine University in 2002 and continued on to achieve her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) in 2008.  She has been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois since 2014.

Genevieve devotes time to volunteer at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake as a spiritual leader for the children of recovering addicts in a program called Celebrate Recovery.
