Chance Gallo


Treatment Issues: Bipolar Disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Couples/Families, Psychological Testing, and Building Emotional & Developmental Awareness in Men.

Education and Training: Chance earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University-Channel Islands, 2017 in Camarillo, CA. Chance earned his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University, 2020 in Kirkland, WA and Chance is currently working on his Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Counseling Psychology at Northwest University with an expected graduation date of May 2022. Chance has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBT-p), Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Applied Skills (DBT-A), and Gottman Counseling-Level 1.

Background and Experience: Chance has been working in psychiatric inpatient settings for almost three years as a mental health technician in King County. Chance worked one year in outpatient youth and family with predominately Spanish speaking clients as a case manager in Ventura County, CA.

Special Interests and Services: Chance enjoys working with adults in any stage of adulthood with a wide range of challenges. Chance describes his therapy style as a holistic-oriented approach and utilizes psychodynamics to understand long-standing issues of the client’s past and help the client gain awareness of their conscious and unconscious mind. Chance is specifically interested in assisting clients and their families in areas of mental illness, relationships, life transitions, and substance-use disorders.
