Anna McGregor


Anna is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience in working with adults and young adults in both individual and group therapy contexts. Prior to joining Meier Clinics in 2019, she interned at Northwestern Medicine Behavioral Health Services in St. Charles as well as Olivet Nazarene University’s College Counseling Center. Anna graduated from Wheaton College with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a National Certified Counselor.

Common treatment issues include:

Depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, boundaries, self-esteem/self-acceptance, stress management, identity, life transitions, social skills, perfectionism, spiritual concerns, and physical illnesses.

Anna’s treatment approach is relationally-oriented and tailored to each client while pulling from therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Anna believes that the therapeutic relationship can be a place where an individual feels heard and experiences acceptance, healing, and growth.

Anna also facilitates the Next Steps Group designed for adults who are feeling stuck in treatment as well as adults transitioning from a hospital or day program. Learn more.
