Amy Batista

Amy is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who performs assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric conditions by integrating a holistic approach with Christian principles and evidence-based medicine. She believes in treating clients with the utmost respect for individual differences, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. Her passion is for every person to understand their worth and find trust and hope in God’s plan for their lives.

Amy began her career in 1997 as a case manager in the mental health field after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. She became a Registered Nurse in 2005 and has obtained diverse experience in a variety of inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings. She earned a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University in 2012 and has specialized in bone health and pain management prior to joining Meier Clinics. She is credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Amy has been married since 1996 and has two adult children. She loves spending time with her family which includes a Great Dane and a cat. She loves fitness, outdoor activities, crafts, gardening, and cooking.

Amy looks forward to developing trusting, collaborative relationships with her clients so they can feel their best and live life to the fullest.
