Allison Pyon

Treatment Issues: Allison has worked with individuals experiencing major life changes and adjustments, people experiencing the global pandemic and its impact, as well as individuals seeking to better understand themselves through therapeutic intervention. She enjoys working with people open to the therapeutic process who are willing and ready to make change, grow and learn about themselves and others.

Education and Training: Allison’s undergraduate degrees were a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Honors Humanities from Azusa Pacific University in 2017. She is currently in her third year at Antioch University’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral program.

Background and Experience: Allison worked in a university mental health clinic with individuals experiencing the global pandemic, adjusting to graduate level school work and individuals experiencing relationship difficulties and loss as well as volunteered in a local food bank to her area partnered with her church.

Special Interests and Services: Allison works with adults spanning from emerging adults to those in middle age and beyond. She is especially interested in  helping clients determine a path forward in their life when there seems to be no clear one. She is interested in exploring with her clients what works best for them and how to increase their autonomy, independence and safety. She enjoys baking, DIY projects and reading a good book in her spare time.
