Mental Health Counselor-PHP/IOP Programs

Description

Meier Clinics is a not-for-profit, Christian, mental health counseling ministry with locations coast-to-coast. We have been “One of the most trusted names in Christian counseling” since 1976. We have five locations in Illinois and currently have an opening for a full-time licensed counselor for our Wheaton Outpatient Clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy in PHP/IOP level of care for adults and/or adolescents
  • Coordinate treatment with multi-disciplinary team
  • Providing initial assessments and ongoing outpatient counseling.
  • Timely EMR charting and accurate service coding.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed in the State of Illinois
  • Minimum of one year experience in a mental health setting providing direct counseling services to individuals, couples and/or families.
  • Comfortable and experienced working with all ages. Preference given to those working with children and/or adolescents.
  • Must be available at least 2 evenings per week.
