Education and Training: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Masters and Doctorate in Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University, in La Mirada, California, (APA approved), 1986. Licensed in the state of Washington.
Background and Experience: Dr. Hartman has developed inpatient, outpatient, and day hospital programs. He has been a licensed psychologist since 1987 and has trained and supervised therapists since 1989. Dr. Hartman began practice with the Cloud-Townsend Clinic in 1986 in California, moving to Seattle in 1991 and developing a clinic for Cloud-Townsend prior to joining the Meier Clinics.
Special Interests and Services: Dr. Hartman currently manages the Meier Clinics Intensive Day Program, an outpatient practice, and supervises and trains therapists. He enjoys working with clients dealing with the full spectrum of anxiety and depressive disorders as he sees these woven through the difficulties and stresses of life. Dr. Hartman enjoys the challenge of difficult diagnostic clarification and complex cases. His training in Psychology and Theology and integrating spirituality and relationship are deep passions of his. He works with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.
Additional Information: Dr. Harman has been married since the early 80's, has four adult children, and is invested in learning, growing and maturing. He is the oldest son of a Free Methodist pastor and has worked with churches, pastors, and church leadership over the years.
