Gregory Fields, LPC
Gregory utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for individual adolescents and adults, as well as couples, families, and groups. He has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, infidelity, and relationship difficulties.
"My approach to therapy takes an integrative direction. That means considering the needs you bring as a starting point to determine the most effective way to work. I described people as “stuck” and this happens for a number of reasons.
Sometimes the solution is the problem. For many of us, the feelings and thoughts we experience appear to be the source of our distress. We believe if we get them to go away, we might finally be able to live. We try to get rid of them but they keep coming back. This vicious cycle keeps us stuck. I believe there is a way out. I want to help you learn to relate to your thoughts and feelings in a way that frees you to live a life that matters to you."
Prior to becoming a counselor, Greg Fields was a pastor where he often provided a guiding hand to hurting people for over 7 years. Greg holds a M.Div. from Baylor University and a M.S. in Community Counseling at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
