Beth Boyd - LPC Intern
Beth Boyd is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern supervised by Keith Cobern Ph.D., LPC-S, LMFT. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Beth is completing her post-graduate training in the Meier Clinic Catalyst program and with individual outpatient clients.
During her time at Meier Clinic and an intensive outpatient program for women with substance abuse issues, Beth has gained experience in working with addiction (substance and behavioral) anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anger issues, family systems issues, trauma, boundaries, codependency, self-worth issues, shame and grief.
Beth enjoys working with clients who have completed the Catalyst program, family members of patients currently in the Catalyst program and adult female clients. Specific areas of interest include sexual addiction and partners of sex addicts, trauma, grief and marital and family issues.
Prior to her career in counseling, Beth worked in commercial real estate. She is married with three children.
