Meier Clinics originated in Texas with the first office opening in 1976 and was co-founded by  Dr. Paul Meier.  Meier Clinics is a well-known Christian counseling center in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex with two clinics to choose from.  The  Allen clinic offers outpatient counseling services and a larger facility in Richardson, a suburb to the north of Dallas, offers day program services (partial hospital services) for adults in addition to outpatient counseling.  

 

The Richardson office staff is comprised of three psychiatrists, a physician's assistant, several psychologists, and counselors available for a wide range of counseling needs.  Dr. Paul Meier sees outpatients as well as Day Program clients in the Richardson facility.  The Day Program is an intensive counseling program running Monday through Friday with the typical stay being three weeks.  Clients benefit from extensive daily therapy in addition to seeing the psychiatrist each day for medication management.  The Outpatient program is for those who need less intensive care, generally meeting with a therapist once weekly or less.

Co-Ed Group Therapy - Thursdays - 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Group therapy provides an opportunity to grow, heal and hear from others who are also on the road to recovery from depression, anxiety, co-dependency, anger issues, conflict resolution, interpersonal relationship problems, and grief/loss.  It is more than support or accountability.  It is actual therapy that can propel your recovery to the next stage of growth. Call 972-437-4698, option 5, to schedule a 30-minute screening session with Audrey Steinle, LPC, if you are interested in joining this group.

 

Women's Only Group Therapy - Saturdays - 9:30 - 11:00 a.m..

Join with other women who are on personal journeys to healing and fulfillment.  This group may be ideal for you if you are struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, co-dependency, anger management, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, unresolved trauma, grief and loss.  This can be a great supplement to your current individual counseling.  Call 972-437-4698, option 5, to schedule a 30-minute screening session with Audrey Steinle, LPC, if you are interested in joining this group.

Eating Disorders Program

This Day Program/Intensive Outpatient Program is specifically created for adults who are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, or other eating related issues.  Participants will receive individual, group, nutrition, and expressive therapy as well as spiritual grown in a healing environment at our Richardson, Texas, clinic.

 
Pathway to Freedom

This Intensive Outpatient Program for Sexual Addiction is designed for those who are tired of the pain, loss, shame and burden their addiction is having on them emotionally, vocationally, relationally, and spiritually.  Using the Recovery Start Kit created by Patrick Carnes, our Christian counseling team will help participants find their way back to health and freedom.  This program meets Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. in our Richardson, Texas, clinic so it does not interfere with most adults' work schedules.  Click here to read more about this exciting program.
